Yesterday
Back in the 50’s, Chris’s Restaurant at Ocean City, New Jersey, pioneered the first big time family
speedboat ride the Flying Saucer, a converted US Navy PT Boat powered by four Packard V12 marine engines. What a ride!
Today
There are
nine 70 ft. speedboats operating out of Chicago, New York, Norfolk and Houston. They carry fun loving people who want to go
fast, see the sights and sometimes get a little wet.
Tomorrow
The new Gold Star Speedboat will be sleeker, faster and more comfortable.
Powered by three water jets at speeds up to 50 mph it will be the ultimate family speedboat ride.
